Refund Policy

At Robertsbridge Dental Practice, we understand that circumstances can change and that patients may occasionally need to cancel or rearrange an appointment. Our Refund policy is designed to ensure that appointments are managed fairly and that clinical time reserved specifically for a patient is not unnecessarily lost.

  1. Short-Notice Cancellation

If an appointment is cancelled or rearranged with less than 48 hours’ notice, a short-notice cancellation charge will apply.

The charge will be calculated at £1 per minute of the appointment time reserved for the patient.

This charge reflects the clinical time that has been specifically reserved for the patient and the limited opportunity for the practice to offer that appointment to another patient at short notice.

  1. Failure to Attend

If a patient fails to attend a scheduled appointment without providing the required notice, the appointment will be recorded as a Failure to Attend.

This will incur the applicable charge of £1 per minute of the appointment time reserved for the patient.

Repeated cancellations, short-notice cancellations or Failures to Attend may result in the practice reviewing whether future appointments can be offered.

  1. Refunds

Where a patient has made an advance payment for treatment or an appointment and subsequently cancels, any refund will be considered in accordance with the circumstances of the cancellation, the treatment terms and the patient’s statutory rights.

Where a refund is due, it will be made using the original payment method.

  1. Fraudulent claims

Any false, misleading or fraudulent claims in relation to payments or deliberately initiating a chargeback for payments that have been refunded already or are legitimately due to the practice will be reported to the police without delay, The payment provider, bank, card issuer or other relevant authority will also be informed immediately**.**

This applies to any payment processed in the name of Robertsbridge Dental Practice, including payments relating to appointment reservations, dental treatment, goods or services that have been provided or are due to be provided.

Robertsbridge Dental Practice reserves the right to take further legal action to recover any monies owed and/or address any losses incurred as a result of fraudulent or unlawful activity.
